Drop Terms & Conditions
Drops are our way of delivering collectibles, points, surprises, and partner offers through the app. Each Drop activation has its own specific Terms & Conditions explaining what’s on offer, how long it runs, and how to take part. We follow NSW trade promotion rules, which means chance-based giveaways stay under $10,000 in total prize value unless we hold a permit, while skill-based challenges and discount promotions run freely under Australian law. Points and collectibles have no cash value, and partner promotions are the responsibility of the business providing them. By joining Drop Drip Run, you agree to these general Terms and the specific rules for that promotion.
To keep it easy we'll publish all relevant T&Cs in one location below. For any enquiries please email info@driprun.com.au.
General Terms & Conditions for Drops
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in all promotional activities, collectibles, and rewards (“Drops”) conducted via the Drip Run mobile application (“App”). By using the App and participating in any Drop, you agree to these Terms and to the specific Terms & Conditions attached to each Drop or Surprise.
1. What is a Drop?
A “Drop” refers to any promotional activity, collectible release, discount offer, prize promotion, or reward mechanism delivered through the App.
Drops may include (but are not limited to):
Collectibles (digital or physical items available in limited series);
Surprises (partner promotions, discounts, vouchers, or offers);
Points-based rewards, including “5 Points” increments that contribute to player leaderboards; and
Skill-based challenges (e.g. creative submissions, puzzles, or tasks).
2. Trade Promotion Lotteries & Legal Compliance
Drip Run operates Drops in compliance with all applicable laws, including the Community Gaming Act 2018 (NSW) and related regulations.
Games of Chance:
Where a Drop involves chance-based selection (e.g. random draws), the total prize pool will not exceed AUD $10,000 per promotion, unless a trade promotion authority/permit is obtained.
For Drops exceeding $10,000 in total prize value, Drip Run will obtain the required trade promotion authority prior to commencement.
Games of Skill:
Where the winner is determined by skill, merit, or judged criteria, no element of chance will be used, and no permit is required.
Discounted Offers:
Certain Drops may provide goods or services at heavily discounted prices (e.g. “99% off offers”). These Drops are promotional offers and not lotteries or giveaways.
Drip Run does not conduct unlicensed lotteries, unlawful gambling activities, or promotions that contravene state or federal law.
3. Individual Drop Terms
Each Drop or Surprise will have its own specific Terms & Conditions, which will state:
Eligibility requirements;
Start and end dates;
Prize or offer details;
Number of redemptions or total prize pool value;
Method of participation (including whether winners are selected by chance or skill);
Redemption instructions; and
Expiry conditions.
Where individual Terms conflict with these General Terms, the individual Drop Terms apply.
4. Eligibility
Unless otherwise stated, Drops are open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and over.
Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Drip Run or participating partners are ineligible to win prize-based Drops.
Some Drops may require proof of student status or proof of age to redeem.
5. Points and Leaderboards
“Points” may be awarded through participation in Drops, including bonus increments of 5 Points (“5 Points”), which help users climb the leaderboard.
Points have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and are used solely for in-App recognition, rankings, and access to specific challenges.
Leaderboards reset or roll over at intervals determined by Drip Run.
6. Partners & Responsibility
Some Drops are provided by brand partners, retailers, or local businesses. In such cases:
The partner is the supplier of the goods or services;
The partner is solely responsible for the quality, fulfilment, and delivery of its promotion;
Drip Run accepts no liability for partner promotions beyond facilitating the Drop mechanism in the App.
7. Winner Notification & Prize Delivery
Winners of chance-based Drops will be notified via the App, email, or phone within a reasonable time.
Prizes must be claimed and redeemed within the period stated in the specific Drop Terms.
Unclaimed prizes may be redrawn, forfeited, or substituted, as permitted by law and the specific Drop Terms.
All prizes must be delivered within 3 months of the draw date unless otherwise agreed or unless the law requires earlier delivery.
8. Fair Play & Record-Keeping
Drip Run will ensure all chance-based Drops are drawn fairly and transparently.
Records of entries, draws, and prize distribution will be kept for at least 12 months in compliance with NSW Fair Trading requirements.
Any suspected manipulation, fraud, or breach of these Terms may result in disqualification.
9. Liability & Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights granted under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Drip Run disclaims liability for:
Loss or damage arising from partner promotions;
Technical issues in the App beyond its reasonable control;
Misuse of Points, Collectibles, or vouchers once awarded.
10. Changes & Cancellation
Drip Run may vary, suspend, or cancel a Drop if:
Required by law or regulation;
The Drop is compromised by fraud, technical malfunction, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Any cancellation or variation will be communicated promptly via the App or official channels.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Users submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
General Terms & Conditions for Collectibles
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all Collectibles released within the Drip Run mobile application (“App”). By participating in any Drop that includes a Collectible, you agree to these Terms and the specific Terms & Conditions that may apply to each Collectible series or campaign.
1. What are Collectibles?
“Collectibles” are limited-edition digital items, artworks, or tokens released within the App.
Collectibles may form part of a themed “series” (e.g. Sad Pets, Cursed Collectibles, Fume Candles).
Collectibles may be tied to Drop events, leaderboards, challenges, or promotions, and may be earned, discovered, or purchased at a discounted price.
2. Ownership & Value
Collectibles are for entertainment and engagement purposes only.
Collectibles have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for money, credit, or tangible goods unless explicitly stated in the specific Collectible’s Terms.
Collectibles cannot be traded or sold within or outside the App unless Drip Run introduces an official marketplace feature.
3. Availability & Scarcity
Each Collectible series will have its own release size, distribution method, and expiry rules.
Quantities may be limited and availability is on a “first in, first served” basis.
Drip Run reserves the right to retire, archive, or re-release Collectibles as part of future campaigns.
4. Collectible Series Terms
Each Collectible series (e.g. Sad Pets, Cursed Collectibles) will have its own specific Terms & Conditions, which may include:
The total number of items in the series;
How Collectibles are obtained (e.g. Drop, challenge, points redemption);
Expiry or availability dates; and
Any special rules for unlocking or completing the series.
Where specific Terms conflict with these General Terms, the specific series Terms apply.
5. Points & Leaderboards
Some Collectibles may contribute to Points or leaderboard standings.
Points (including 5 Point increments) are separate from Collectibles and have no monetary value.
Leaderboard rankings are for in-App recognition only and may be reset at Drip Run’s discretion.
6. Partner & Promotional Collectibles
Some Collectibles may be released in collaboration with brand partners.
In such cases:
The partner is responsible for any associated goods, services, or offers linked to the Collectible;
Drip Run is responsible only for delivering the digital Collectible within the App.
7. Fair Use & Integrity
Users must not attempt to manipulate or exploit the system to obtain Collectibles unfairly.
Drip Run may suspend or remove Collectibles obtained through fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
8. Liability & Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Drip Run excludes liability for:
Loss or damage relating to the unavailability of Collectibles;
Changes to the availability, design, or distribution of Collectibles;
Partner-linked promotions associated with Collectibles.
9. Changes & Discontinuation
Drip Run may update, retire, or replace Collectibles at any time as part of creative or promotional campaigns.
If a Collectible is discontinued, users will retain access to it in their in-App profile unless otherwise notified.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Users submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
Leaderboard Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the leaderboard and points system (“Leaderboard”) within the Drip Run mobile application (“App”). By participating in any activities that earn points or contribute to the Leaderboard, you agree to these Terms.
1. What is the Leaderboard?
The Leaderboard is a feature within the App that displays players’ rankings based on points earned through participation in Drops, Collectibles, and other in-App activities.
The Leaderboard is designed for entertainment, recognition, and community engagement purposes only.
2. What are Points?

Points may be earned by performing actions in the App, including (but not limited to):
Opening the App daily;
Collecting Drops;
Participating in challenges;
Providing feedback through surveys or other in-App mechanisms.
Drip Run may add, remove, or modify the ways Points are earned at any time.
Points have no cash value, cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for money, and may only be used within the App for recognition, rankings, or specific promotions as determined by Drip Run.
3. Leaderboard Rankings
Rankings are determined by the total number of Points earned by each user during a specified period.
Drip Run reserves the right to reset, modify, or adjust the Leaderboard at its discretion, including:
Resetting scores at the end of promotional periods, seasons, or campaigns;
Correcting errors or anomalies;
Adjusting for fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
4. Rewards & Recognition
In some cases, Drip Run may award rewards, bonuses, or special recognition to users at the top of the Leaderboard or to those meeting certain milestones.
Any rewards or bonuses linked to the Leaderboard will be subject to their own specific Terms & Conditions, which will be published at the time of the promotion.
Unless expressly stated, Leaderboard rankings do not guarantee the receipt of any prize, reward, or monetary value.
5. Fair Play & Integrity
Users must not attempt to artificially manipulate their Points or rankings (including but not limited to exploiting software, using bots, or engaging in fraudulent activity).
Drip Run reserves the right to review and adjust Points or rankings where manipulation or error is detected.
Users found engaging in unfair practices may have their accounts suspended or terminated.
6. Changes to the Leaderboard System
Drip Run may update, suspend, or discontinue the Leaderboard or points system at any time without notice.
Methods of earning Points, the weighting of activities, and the frequency of resets may change as the App evolves.
7. Liability & Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Drip Run excludes liability for:
Loss of Points or changes to rankings due to resets, updates, or system changes;
Errors or technical malfunctions that affect the Leaderboard;
Any reliance placed on the Leaderboard by users for personal, commercial, or financial purposes.
