Drip Run Pty Ltd (“Drip Run”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to safeguarding your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose and store your personal information when you use our augmented reality scavenger hunt app and related services (together, the “Services”). We are an Australian company and comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). 1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information. Personal Information includes your Name, Email address, Username or account ID, University or campus affiliation (if applicable), Device information (e.g. model, operating system version, unique identifiers), Age and Date of Birth, Gender, and Declared or Inferred Interests and Preferences.

Regarding Location Data, we collect precise location data to enable gameplay features in the app, including GPS coordinates and signals from Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or other sensors. Your location is used in real time for gameplay and is stored for a limited time (e.g., up to 90 days) to enable location-based historical analysis and to infer interests. Your location is also required for fraud prevention or analytics. We also collect Gameplay and Usage Data, such as your interactions with the game (e.g. AR drops collected, leaderboard positions) and time spent in the app. Finally, we use Cookies and Analytics to enhance your user experience, gather insights on app usage, and may use third-party tools that collect anonymised usage data.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information helps us Deliver and personalise the Services, Enable gameplay features (e.g. map-based AR experiences and prize redemption), Manage your account and provide customer support, and Send important updates, event alerts, and promotional messages (if opted in). Critically, we use this data to Target and personalise promotional content, offers, and Drops based on your age, gender, location, and interests and to Conduct demographic and audience analysis for internal research and reporting. We also use it to improve our app, protect user safety, and prevent misuse or fraud. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Sharing Your Information

We may share your information with Service providers who assist us in operating the app (e.g. hosting, analytics, messaging tools). We share information with Brands and promotional partners, only where relevant to prizes or offers you’ve engaged with. We also share aggregated and de-identified demographic data (including age, gender, and interests) with our Brand Partners for marketing research and campaign planning. We may also share data with Authorities, where required by law or to enforce our legal rights, and with Affiliates or new owners in the event of a merger, acquisition or restructuring. All third parties must handle your data in accordance with relevant privacy laws.

4. Use of Location Data

Your precise location is a key part of how Drip Run works. Location data is collected only with your consent and is used to show nearby virtual game objects and validate actions like prize collection. Data is processed in real time and is also stored when necessary for fraud prevention or analytics (in de-identified form). You can turn off location services at any time through your device settings, although doing so may affect functionality.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on servers located in Australia and/or in countries with adequate privacy safeguards. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption and restricted access controls. If a data breach occurs, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities in line with applicable laws.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to Access your personal information, Correct inaccuracies in your data, Request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations), Restrict or object to processing, Transfer your data to another provider (data portability), or Withdraw consent where consent was the basis for processing. Drip Run is not intended for children under 12. If we become aware that we’ve collected personal information from a child under 12, we’ll delete it promptly.
