At Drip Run Pty Ltd (“Drip Run”, “we”, “us” or “our”), your safety is our top priority. While our augmented reality game is designed for fun and discovery, it is important that all users remain responsible, aware, and cautious when participating.
This User Safety Policy outlines your responsibilities when using the Drip Run app to ensure the wellbeing of yourself, others, and the broader community.
1. Stay Aware of Your Surroundings
Always be mindful of where you are and what’s around you. When using Drip Run:
-
Watch where you’re walking and be cautious near roads, driveways, and intersections
-
Avoid looking at your screen while moving through busy or unfamiliar areas
-
Pay attention to signs, curbs, stairs, and other physical hazards
2. Never Play While Driving or Riding
Do not use the app while:
-
Driving a vehicle
-
Riding a bike, scooter, or skateboard
-
Operating machinery or in any situation that requires full attention
Using the app while in motion poses a serious risk to yourself and others. Wait until you are in a safe, stationary position before interacting with the game.
3. Respect the Law and Public Spaces
You must follow all relevant local laws and regulations while using the app. This includes:
-
Obeying road rules, traffic signals and pedestrian crossings
-
Respecting public property and university campus rules
-
Only accessing public or clearly permitted areas — do not trespass, climb fences, or enter restricted zones
Breaking the law while using the app is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension or removal from the platform.
4. Look Out for Others
Your behaviour in public reflects not just on you, but on the entire Drip Run community. Please:
-
Avoid obstructing footpaths or pathways
-
Move aside when in groups or during gameplay pauses
-
Do not run into others or act recklessly in pursuit of a Drop
-
Be considerate of people who are not playing the game
We encourage a spirit of friendly competition, but never at the expense of others’ comfort or safety.
5. Avoid Dangerous or Risky Behaviour
You must never:
-
Enter roadways or carparks while looking at your phone
-
Climb trees, fences, buildings, or unsafe structures
-
Engage in stunts or physical challenges not approved or presented in-game
-
Play in low-visibility conditions where hazards are harder to spot
If you’re unsure whether a location or action is safe — don’t do it.
6. Use the Game Responsibly
Drip Run is meant to be a safe, inclusive and enjoyable game for all players. We expect users to:
-
Think before acting, especially in crowded or high-traffic environments
-
Take breaks if feeling tired, distracted or disoriented
-
Report any hazards or inappropriate behaviour via info@driprun.com.au
7. Drip Run’s Responsibility
While we provide gameplay elements in public areas, we cannot control the physical environment or guarantee player safety. Users are solely responsible for their actions while playing the game.
We reserve the right to ban or restrict access to users who repeatedly engage in unsafe or unlawful conduct.
In Case of Emergency
If you or someone else is in danger or seriously injured, call 000 (Australia’s emergency number) immediately.
Stay safe, play smart, and look out for each other.
